Camper Experience at King’s Team Camp

At King’s Team Camp, our week-long, overnight camp experience is designed to shift the trajectories of foster youth through adventure, healing, and connection.

Our programs empower teens aged 13-16—many of whom have faced severe abuse, neglect, and the challenges of foster care—to overcome adversity and build a brighter future.

Set in the breathtaking Colorado Rocky Mountains, our camp offers a variety of engaging activities that cater to both physical and emotional development:

Outdoor Adventures

  • Experience the thrill of axe throwing, mountain climbing, rappelling, zip lining, and horseback riding.

Nature Exploration

  • Enjoy activities like hiking and fishing that help campers connect with the natural world.

Team-Building Exercises

  • Participate in group challenges and workshops designed to build trust, collaboration, and healthy connections.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

We understand the unique challenges our campers face.

That’s why our camp is built on a foundation of safety, empathy, and mutual support.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff create an atmosphere where every teen feels valued and understood.

"The impact camp has had on me is huge.  I found a family that loves me and cares for me. My favorite memories are horseback riding with my new best friend and just being with them everyday at camp. I couldn't ask for more in the world than what I have found at this camp."

"King’s Team had a big impact. I learned that people do love and care. I was full of and always thinking of lust and now I don't want that. King’s Team helped me be better with God. I felt safe. I feel as if I was saved. Thank you God for bringing me here and let me come again."

"Dear God, Thank you for the best time of my life and more to come. And thank you for helping me overcome my fear of horses, high ropes and the giant swing."
